Chad Finnigan

Chad Finnigan is a senior IT leader in Denver, CO with over 21 years of experience. He is a servant and transparent leader with a diverse industry experiences ranging from Startup Software, Mid Enterprise/ BigData , and large enterprise Healthcare, Telecom, and Insurtech.

Chad has experience with enterprise and global responsibilities aligning IT and Business strategy, 24x7x365 support, service delivery, and key projects which include; M&A D, system integrations, data center consolidations, network transformation, servers, storage, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities supporting CommonSpirit’s 3k+ and Lumen’s 4k+ applications. Chad has had global responsibility for staff as high as 300+ and an annual budget of $100m.

Chad enjoys working with multiple business partners to provide a collaborative and positive experience in each interaction with a focus on delivering the best business outcomes possible. He is committed to driving high performance teams in delivering improvement of IT stability, performance, and innovation. Chad helped to begin modernizing the application landscape by introducing SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, DRaaS , and Cloud solutions to bolster and transform the user experience.

Prior to his career with CHI, Chad helped lead a startup software company through two acquisitions now part of a $20b global enterprise (IHS Markit ). He was integral in leading through double digit company acquisitions over five years. Performance highlights include leading a multi year data center consolidation program to improve operational efficiencies and significant reductions in operating costs.

Chad is happily married to his wife of 22 years. They have been blessed with two boys ages twelve and fifteen. They love to be active outdoors and support their children in their education, sports, and personal development.
