Ed Miller is Chief Technology Officer at the Center for Medical Interoperability (C4MI) - a 501c(3) cooperative R&D lab formed by hospitals and health systems to advance data sharing among medical devices and systems to improve healthcare for all. Mr. Miller leads C4MI’s efforts to align the healthcare industry around a standards-based technology platform that supports secure, plug-and-play interoperability and trusted, two-way data exchange.
Prior to C4MI, Mr. Miller held multiple leadership roles at Cable Television Laboratories, Inc., where he led the industry’s highly successful DOCSIS® High Speed Internet and PacketCable™ IP Telephony initiatives, both of which achieved global adoption. Mr. Miller holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and an MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
