Ilse Henne

Member of the Management Board of the Materials Services segment, CTO, member of the Management Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Services GmbH

Responsible for the Operating Units Materials Processing & Services North America, Materials Processing Europe and Aerospace as well as for the headquarter functions Excellence & Performance Tribe and Customer Innovation Tribe.

Master’s degree in linguistics and literature at Ghent University followed by advanced business management studies.

Ilse Henne began her career in 1999 at thyssenkrupp Christon in Belgium as Sales Manager before becoming Managing Director in 2002.

From 2012 to 2016 she was CEO of the Materials Western Europe/Asia Pacific operating unit, focusing on its strategic alignment.

As CEO of thyssenkrupp Schulte and the Materials Germany operating unit Ilse Henne has been in charge of the German materials distribution business since 2016. In July 2018 she also assumed the position of CEO of the Materials Western Europe/Asia Pacific operating unit again.

Ilse Henne has been member of the Execuitive Board of the Materials Services segment (CTO) and member of the Executive Board of thyssenkrupp Materials Services GmbH since January 1, 2019.
