Jamal joined the Growth Office on December 14th. He will be working closely with Aaron Reich on the Emerging Technologies team focusing on Ventures.
Prior to joining Avanade, Jamal worked at AT&T. In his most recent role, he was the Outreach Innovation Manager on the AT&T Ecosystem & Innovation Outreach team - a three-person team that essentially was the official front door for bringing in new technology into the company. His previous roles at AT&T were as a Strategy Associate in the Mobility and Entertainment business unit and as a Manager of a Technical Customer Service team.
Jamal has also worked on political campaigns and in the federal government. Most recently as the Florida Deputy Coalitions Director for Biden for President. He worked in the Obama Administration as a Staff Assistant in the White House Presidential Personnel Office and as a Special Assistant in the Office of the White House Liaison at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He also worked on the 2007/08 Obama for America presidential campaign across seven states ranging from Iowa to Florida.
Jamal is from Woodstown, NJ and is a Philadelphia sports fan who loves traveling and trivia. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Tampa and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
