John Puopolo, a Boston native, is a technology executive with extensive leadership and management experience. Over the course of his career he has delivered innovative software systems and products to commercial, enterprise, and consumer markets.
John’s experience spans a broad spectrum of industries including financial services (Fidelity Investments), commercial software (IBM/Lotus), enterprise search (FAST acquired by Microsoft), digital mapping (TeleAtlas acquired by TomTom), e-commerce (RapidBuyr, startup) and healthcare (currently CTO at CorEvitas).
In addition to serving in executive roles in startup, private equity-owned, and public companies, John has served on the adjunct faculty of Northeastern University, the University of Lowell, and Wentworth Institute of Technolgy in the department of Computer Science, is the author of 2 programming books and several articles, is the co-author of several patents, and serves on the Board of Directors for Copyright Clearance Center in Danvers, MA.
