Kim Brannon has over 30 years of experience information systems and business services. Most recently, she served as Chief Information Officer for SAP National Security Services (NS2) where she led the enterprise-wide information technology (IT) strategy, governance and operations. SAP NS2 is a wholly owned subsidiary of SAP focused on powering the secure intelligent enterprise with secure solutions delivered by U.S. persons on U.S. soil. Kim provided leadership for the digital platform that enabled the NS2 community to communicate and collaborate securely. Kim oversaw a rapid digital transformation to evolve the SAP NS2 business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Previously, Kim worked at Raytheon Company, a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government and cybersecurity solutions. Kim held a variety of positions in her 17 years with Raytheon’s Global Business Services and Enterprise IT, including leading the automation and information systems in support of Raytheon’s effort to build a culture of export/import excellence. Other roles included leading Raytheon’s desktop framework transformation as well as IT customer relationship leader, working closely with Raytheon’s businesses and functions to drive IT and automation shared services.
Before joining Raytheon, Kim was a management consultant in the technology solutions practice of A.T. Kearney, a global management consulting firm. Prior to A.T. Kearney, she was employed as a business systems consultant through the mergers of GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta and Lockheed Martin.
Kim holds a master’s degree in business from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Penn State University. Kim also received a CIO Certificate in the Advanced Management Program at the National Defense University.
