Louis Jeansonne, MD

Dr. Jeansonne is a general surgeon and clinical informaticist with a focus on using technology to improve patient care. He serves as Chief Medical Information Officer for Ochsner Health, a non-profit integrated health system that operates 47 hospitals and more than 370 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the Gulf South. He is experienced in implementation and optimization of electronic medical record systems, and in bridging the gap between the clinical and technical domains.
