Michael Josephs presently serves as Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the American Advisors Group (AAG), a company at the top of its market for the provision of financial service for seniors. Michael Joined the AAG executive team in January, 2016 in order to align his skills, experience and technical interests with the needs of our seniors.
As CIO Michael is responsible for the mission-critical technology platforms that support and drive AAG efficiencies, and for ensuring the protection of the data associated with them. Michael oversees execution of key initiatives that help further scale and optimize AAG, and the identification of transformative solutions for the continuous improvement of AAG’s customer engagement model.
Prior to joining AAG Michael served as CIO for the Insurance Workers’ Compensation Solutions and Services group at Xerox (StrataCare). During his 10-year StrataCare tenure, Michael was responsible for providing executive leadership for the creation, delivery and support of technology platforms that enable the end-to-end validation of the accuracy of payments for some of the world’s largest medical payers.
Prior to joining StrataCare in 2006, Michael’s experience also included the delivery of complex SaaS-based Financial Services for E*Trade, the P&L leadership of a Direct-to-Consumer e-Commerce lending division for a former subsidiary for Ford Motor Credit (Triad Financial), and the establishment of information collection, dissemination and presentation platforms and services for agencies working in our national interest.
Michael holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, and serves on a number of technical and corporate advisory boards.
