Nigel Fay

Nigel Fay is Corporate Vice President at Henkel, responsible globally for Innovation and Application Engineering for Loctite Industrial Adhesives. Nigel is also a Director of Henkel Ireland Operations and Research Ltd.

Previously, Nigel has held leadership roles in the Electronics industry with Intel Corporation, Automotive industry with General Motors, and Manufacturing and Maintenance space with Henkel. Nigel has had positions across Research & Development, Application Engineering, Innovation Management and Digital Business Development and has worked and lived in the US, Australia, Germany and Ireland.

With over 20 years leadership experience Nigel has a passion for working with diverse cross-functional teams to solve complex customer and industry problems. He is a strong believer in Open innovation and in building ecosystems based on partnerships where value is created and shared. In an ever evolving digital world the traditional approaches to developing solutions and businesses will need to be challenged at every step. Nigel believes expertise needs to be more accessible to capture opportunities.

Nigel has a PhD in Physical Chemistry and a Master’s degree in International Business Management. He also has a Project Management Professional certification from PMI, along with a Certificate of Management Excellence from Harvard Business School.
