Rusty Newton

Rusty Newton started in IT at the early age of 15, continuing in the field for over 20 years. Most of that time spent in "Rocket City" Huntsville, AL. He currently serves as a full-time Chief Information Security Officer for Tennessee State University.

As an advocate for constant learning, Rusty has earned numerous industry certifications. That takes a lot of time, but when his nose isn't in a book, you can find him hanging out with his wife and dog, cooking a fun meal or in the forest hiking and meditating.
