Steven Coulter

Steven Coulter serves as the CIO and CTO for AssetGenie, Inc. (AGI).  He manages an IT team that is responsible for the company’s communications, security, and user workstations as well as a Software Development team that is responsible for the company’s in-house and commercial software solutions, data, and online presence.  Steven started with the company in 2011 as a software engineer and soon thereafter moved to a management position.

AssetGenie and its subsidiaries help K-12 school districts, colleges, and universities manage their educational technology. With three locations in the continental US, AGI sells components and offers warranty and repair services for Chromebooks, iPads, MacBooks, and other devices used by students.  For school administrators, AGI offers set-up services for device deployments and buy-back services for end-of-life devices.

Steven graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with Bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Engineering.  During his time at AGI, Steven completed a Master’s degree in Software Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.  He is involved with various mentorship, leadership, and technology groups in Pittsburgh.
