Viggo Forde

Viggo Forde serves as the CIO/Privacy Officer/ Director of Information Technology at Snohomish county, Washington.  Prior to his current role he was a Senior Director of Business Program Management at Microsoft Corporation (08/2015-11/2018). In this role, he was responsible for leading multiple re-engineering program for Commercial global technical support business, shifting the operating model to a new customer focused structure. He also managed a global team of process and quality engineers as well as led the design of a new operating model.

Previously, he served as a Senior Manager Global Content Strategy at Amazon (01/2014-08/2015). In this role, he Executed global content strategy for the division to track and improve seller success. He worked to increase capacity and scalability of operations. Earlier, he served as Director of Content Publishing and Localization at Microsoft (01/1995-01/2014).
